What is going on with my name right?? I have struggled with it my entire life. It is pronounced "Erin". My parents wanted me to have that name but wanted it to be spelled with an "A" and not to have the male spelling. Man, they sure have made this complicated for me.
I was born 11/18/80 (Mickey Mouse's B-Day) in California. I entered the world and joined my big brother Robert, who is 5 years older than me. I was a quick learner at some things, but very slow at others. I walked by 9-10 months old, but didn't grow any hair until I was almost 2! I had to hurry and walk and talk because I wanted to run and play with my brother.
As a small child I was very shy and quiet. I can assure you that has changed completely. I don't think anyone who knows me now would say that I am quiet at all and most people don't believe me when I tell them that I used to be shy or quiet!
I enjoyed school and did well. I also participated in extracurricular activities during junior high and high school. I was in Peer Counseling, Track and Field, Band (playing the clarinet), and Pageantry. I also took dance classes for many years including tap and jazz which I continue to take and enjoy today. While in school I was able to be a role model for the D.A.R.E. program and also earned honors in English and Science as well. During my senior year I began working at a local doctor's office and have continued working in the medical field ever since.
